I'm not saying advertising for products like this is not a good way to make money! But for heavens sake don't buy into them yourself!!

Thanks for your reply and I figured as much. My thinking is, he is selling info that can usually be found online for free as far as advertising with google, etc.
I am knowledgable when it comes to the computer, but 6 months new to marketing. I am an affiliate for several different programs, etc. and have been reading and researching for about 8 months now and have made $21.19 as an affiliate.
I have gained access to mailing list and get 5000 leads per month, but do not have an auto-responder or mailing program, so looking into that now. I have bits and pieces of all kinds of info and a have found a lot of good info here. (Thanks).
I am confused on keywords as far as what it takes to properly takes for everything to fall into place for searches. For example, this website that I used as a trial run, which I posted in the members website thread, www.relations.350.com/Relations.htm
I need to completely re-work all the keywords and from what I understand, need to have links that coincide with the keywords, so really need to re-work the whole site and all it's pages. I know I need to get it off the free site and get a domain, but this was just a trial run to try it out and get experience. I am going to take a couple days off next week and focus on this more and move it.
I use twitter almost daily and mix it up with quotes rather than just doing links and try to find helpful pages to post. If you want to follow, I am Dawg8it.

Here's what I mean by keywords,

When I write or post a new article on Unemployment Killer I do some research before coming up with a "TITLE", this is ABSOLUTELY THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO LEARN!!!!!!!!! Sorry for being obnoxious but I'm serious, you have to start thinking differently to make money online.

How do you make money - one way is get people to your site and offer them something their looking for using either personal experience or a review or just link them straight to an affiliate offer etc. But wait, how do you get people to your site??? This is where most people go wrong!!! You have to either plan on taking steps to OPTIMIZE your site to get organic/natural traffic from the search engines, OR pay for targeted traffic that "MIGHT" convert, or use any other method of driving traffic to your site. But, we're looking for a way to drive consistent traffic to our sites everyday and have that traffic convert to a sale or sign up or whatever makes you money.

People go to a search engine and type a "keyword" which gets them a list of results based on what they typed in and what their trying to accomplish. You want to "TARGET" keywords that there isn't much competition for, LONG TAILED keywords like "Ways to breakup with my girlfriend" This keyword will most likely not have too much competition(Not sure though check it out) and you can rank relatively easily on the first page of google. This is where your traffic will come from everyday!!!!!

Without traffic there is simply no sales, plain and simple. So, you need to use a free keyword tool - check my latest article about free SEO(Search Engine Optimization) Tools all in one place. Or use Wordtracker's free keyword research tool located here . With this tool you can see how many people search for a certain keyword every month. What you want to do is use keywords getting around 250-500 searches per month for your ARTICLE TITLES. This is how GOOGLE and the other search engines index your content, they use your title, and also many other things but we're just getting started here.

So use wordtracker and find a good keyword relevant to your article that gets 200-500 searches per month and name your article that keyword exactly. This is simply a intro to SEO, there is so much to learn and I am still learning as well. But start with this and read up on keyword optimization and some basic SEO techniques, check my new article for a ton of tools you can use.

You need to start thinking like your visitors!!! How did I get here?? What am I looking for? And if you can figure out why someone landed at your site and what their looking for, than you simply give them what their looking for in a straightforward not-hard-to-understand way.

Find a winner and let it run and make you money, if you find a winner that makes you 20/month make 500 like it and you'll be making $10,000 a month in no time at all!! Thats how you have to think! If you can make 20/month than you can easily make 20 times that by replicating what your doing over and over and over. Find what works and makes you money than move on to the next thing and keep going, the most important thing to do is to "DO" you have to do something to make money you have to take action and learn and lean and learn!!!

Before you know it you'll be making some serious money online!! Think outside the box.

Yeah, that's where I was going wrong from the start, is having different keywords from the title and I realized that after I had posted my test site in "post your website/blog" thread and you had replied on it, so I backed up and started looking at a different aproach. I will read up on SEO tomorrow and plan on moving and reconstructing the site on my days off from the real job. LOL
