I'm so impressed with this site and looking forward to learning a lot here, and promoting UK..

While I own a sucessful ecommerce store.. since 98, I've been kind of bogged down operating the day to day stuff that comes with inventory, sales people, customer service, shipping etc. I recently (about 3 months ago) started spending most of my time really delving into what has happened in the internet since the inception of my ecommerce store. Obviously the economy has had an effect on my existing business and i wanted to explore new avenues for various income streams. The learning curve is huge! And its hard to remain focused and on task while in this learning stage.

I started an experimental blog: Link: Beclecto that I've been using as my learning tool. We lease our own servers so quite a bit of time has been taken up with setup and issues with plugins etc. Not sure why I get so many "fatal errors" when i try to install a plugin that is supposed to be "easy" but i'm constantly editing code to make them work with the patient help of my full time IT guy! "Sloppy Code" he always says and my response is.. why does it seem like I'M the only one with issue? ARGH.

I've really enjoyed this passionate quest but still feel very inexperienced and seeking my true direction. I've got tons of ideas and research begets more ideas and more learning curves. I yearn for automation but feel its the easy way out until i've paid my dues and really understand the underlying approach and principles.

I'm so intrigued by Geoff Lords site. Where does all that content come from? Obviously from many sources, but its the first time I've actually seen a blog like that.

Anyway I'll be posting i'm sure and look forward to all this site can offer. Great idea too!

glad you like my Blog. it is a very long standing WP blog with some very special features built in to it.
